However, there are plenty of ways to get one in your pocket for less right now, whether you’re interested in a new phone plan, a trade-in offer, or something else.

Carriers like AT&T And Verizon offer serious savings to those who add a line or trade in an old phone, which can even put one of these sleek iPhones in your pocket for free. Best iPhone Air deals
If you have an old device to trade in, you can get anywhere from $40 to $670 in credit toward your new iPhone Air. You’ll also get 3% cash back if you shop with your Apple Card.* Apple also partners with carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Boost Mobile, which offer an enhanced trade-in credit of up to $1,100 if you’re looking for a service plan.
T-Mobile has plenty of deals on the iPhone Air, but they vary depending on what plan you have. A qualifying trade-in with an Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plan can get you the phone for free. You can save $830 if you have an Experience More or Go5G Plus plan or add four lines to the Essentials 4 plan, no trade-in necessary.
T-Mobile also has special deals for military members, first responders, and seniors 55 and older that can save you up to $900. Plus, you can get up to $300 off by redeeming on most other plans not mentioned here.
Sign up for a new line on a Verizon Unlimited Welcome, Plus, or Ultimate plan to save up to $1,000 on your iPhone Air, getting the base model for free. Your savings will be applied via 36 monthly bill credits. You’ll also get four lines for $24 per line per month on the Verizon Unlimited Welcome plan when you sign up for autopay.
Buying the iPhone Air with an AT&T installment plan could save you up to $572. That brings the cost down to just $13 per month with no trade-in required, although you’ll need a qualifying unlimited plan.
AT&T is also offering an $800 reward if you break your current phone contract and switch to AT&T. For a limited time, you can also save $200 if you order a new line. This offer is valid for online orders only. Discounts will be applied as bill credits over 36 months.
Best Buy doesn’t offer any unlocked iPhones, but it does offer savings on the new iPhone Air if you want to sign up with a carrier. You’ll get an enhanced trade-in credit that will save you up to $1,000 if you’re a Verizon customer.
You’ll also get two free months of Apple TV Plus and three free months of Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness Plus with the purchase, provided you’re a new or returning subscriber.
Those on the $65-per-month Boost Mobile Infinite Access plan for iPhone will automatically save $830 on the iPhone Air. This brings the cost down to less than $5 per month instead of the usual $28.
Visible isn’t offering any special deals at the moment, but it does have its own trade-in program where you can earn iPhone Air credit in trade-in for your old phone. The amount you save will depend on the phone you’re trading in as well as its condition.
