California Ready To Rumble With Trump To Keep Men In Women’s Sports

The California Department of Education (CDE) rejected the Trump administration on Monday to keep men away from female sports.
The American Department of Education (ED) announced in June that it had found California in violation of federal civil rights for having enabled men to participate in sports sports for women and to access female spaces, such as changing rooms and toilets. CDE apparently informed Ed that he would not comply with the resolution proposed by the Trump administration, announced the Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, on X.
The Californian department said it was “respectfully disagreement” with the conclusions of the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) and added “it will not sign the proposed resolution agreement”, according to the email published by McMahon. The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), which was also found in violation of the same law, told ED “hearing” CDE’s response.
California has just rejected our resolution agreement to follow federal law and keep men away from female sports.
It turns out that the recognition of Governor Newsom that “it is a question of equity” was an empty political greatness.@Cagovernoryou will hear @Agpambondi. pic.twitter.com/wa945htmg6

“California has just rejected our resolution agreement to follow the federal law and prevent men from female sports,” McMahon wrote in the Post. “It turns out [Democratic California] Gov. [Gavin] Newsom recognition that “it is a question of equity” was an empty political size. »»
McMahon warned Newsom that the State will not be sent back to the United States Ministry of Justice (DoJ).
The CDE did not immediately respond to the request for comments from the Daily Call News Foundation. CIF refused to comment.
Some Congress Republicans, such as the Republican representative of North Carolina, Mark Harris, a member of the Chamber’s Education Committee, also ask the State to lose its federal funding.
“If California wants to deliberately endanger female athletes, that should not obtain federal funding,” said Harris on X in response to the news.

Despite being a long -standing defender of transgender, Newsom admitted in March that men competing against women in sport were “deeply unfair”. The California Education Code always allows athletes to compete according to “its gender identity”. The resolution proposed by ED asked the State to stop allowing men to compete in female sports and to use their spaces, to restore all the female files that have been crushed by men and to apologize to women negatively affected by state policies.
