Young man hospitalized and suspect at large following Fresno shooting, police say

A young man is hospitalized after being shot in the chest in east-central Fresno Saturday evening.
The shooting happened shortly before 9 p.m. in the Elite Liquors parking lot in the area of Peach and Belmont avenues.
Police say they received a call about a shooting victim, and when officers arrived they found a young man they believe to be 18 or 19 years old.
The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
At the moment there is no suspicious information.
Police are canvassing the area for security footage as the investigation continues.
