Anker is not a newcomer in the portable power station And home battery backup walk. We have tested and recommended many of its power stations that offer home backup capabilities, including the Anker Solix F3800 Pluswhich is currently on our list of best-tested portable power stations.
The Anker Solix E10 is unique because it’s not just a standalone home backup solution or a portable power station. It integrates battery, solar, and a smart fuel generator to keep your home powered with three different methods in the event of an outage or emergency. According to Anker, it’s scalable, allowing you to add multiple batteries. It also allows for easy DIY installation and is stackable, which is not typically the case for home power backups of this capacity.

E10 Power Capabilities and Connectivity

An E10 unit can deliver up to 37.2 kilowatts (kW) of power, allowing it to power demanding appliances, including a 5-ton AC. A double set of E10 can provide up to 66 kW of power. The unit supports 10 kW turbo power per unit, for up to 90 minutes, allowing you to power more demanding devices and protect essentials such as medical devices, refrigeration and Wi-Fi when needed.

You can pair it with the Power Dock, which provides 200 amps of whole-house backup by powering all of the circuits in the house, rather than just a few, as is typical with most home backups. The power station also supports 20 x 20 millisecond switches, which should be enough protection for the devices.

You can also install a Smart Inlet Box as an alternative to the Power Dock, allowing manual switching in the event of an outage and supporting grid charging with existing solar systems.

One of Anker’s biggest selling points with the E10 is expandability. The 6 kWh batteries are modular, allowing you to combine three E10 units to achieve up to 90 kWh. This capacity provides 15 days of backup power to a family, making it a suitable option in the event of an extended power outage.

Each E10 unit supports 9 kW or 27 kW solar input for three units. Anker claims it is compatible with all solar panels, including rigid, portable, and third-party solar AC systems. The Smart Generator can also charge the battery directly via a DC connection.

The E10 features an all-metal NEMA 4 enclosure with F1 UV protection. Anker claims it can operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 131 degrees Farnheit. It supports wall and floor mounting.
