When Media Questions Renee Good’s Former Father-in-Law, He Delivers Comment They Weren’t Expecting – RedState

We’ve seen a lot of madness pushed by the left following the shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent after she hit him with her car.
Many people on social media have misinterpreted the law or facts in this case to attack the ICE agent. Many falsely referred to the incident as a “murder.” It’s like a cult of unreality on X, with leftists all sharing false “facts” to prove their beliefs, each confirming the other’s prejudices. The liberal media largely fueled this frenzy. The agent is now in hiding, in part because of this frenzy.
Some media outlets have downplayed, if not outright denied, the evidence that the ICE agent was struck by the car, despite the evidence in the videos. On Wednesday, a new report revealed that the officer suffered internal bleeding from the blow. The nature of the bleeding was unclear from the report. But obviously, that was just another indication that the agent had been hit.

But when CNN interviewed Good’s former father-in-law, Timmy Macklin, I don’t think they expected the response they received. Macklin was the father of Good’s ex-husband, who died in 2023, and with whom she had her son, now 6 years old.
Erin Burnett asked about the investigation into the case, possibly looking into the actions of Renee and Rebecca Good. It seemed like she was hoping/anticipating an angry response from him towards the government for this. But that’s not what she got. Macklin said he didn’t blame anyone, including the ICE agent.
Renee Good’s Ex-Father-in-Law Refuses to Blame ICE Agent for Her Death on CNN:
“I don’t blame ICE. I don’t blame Rebecca. I don’t blame Renee. I just… you know, if we were walking in the Spirit of God, I don’t think she would have been there.” pic.twitter.com/zFxEZBgymR

Macklin highlighted how the officer was hit and even dragged before in another incident. Meanwhile, Burnett looked like she wasn’t ready for this and was blinking a lot.
He said he “loved everyone”, but thought there had been “bad choices”.
“I don’t blame ICE. I don’t blame Rebecca. I don’t blame Renee. I just… you know, if we walk In the Spirit of God, I don’t think she would have been there. That’s… that’s how I see things.”
It’s true, and it’s pretty incredible that he can see through it, as a member of the family. He is capable of doing it, but the leftists and some media, who did not even know it, cannot do it.
Renee Good might be here now if she hadn’t made the choice to be there that day, to not comply with the request to get out of the car, and not to drive the car to the ICE agent.

She also might not have been there if Democrats hadn’t politicized law enforcement to attack President Donald Trump. Things Democrats should consider, but they probably won’t.
Unfortunately, many do not think clearly like this father-in-law.
