Sen. Tom Cotton: China threatens U.S. AI development

The presence of thousands of Chinese nationals in Department of Energy laboratories and facilities increases the risk of theft of critical national security information regarding the high-priority U.S. artificial intelligence development program, Senate Intelligence Select Committee Chairman Tom Cotton and 10 other Republican senators warned Energy Secretary Chris Wright this week.
