Utah senator has nothing better to do than officially troll iPhone users

In case you weren’t paying attention, there’s a lot going on politically and socially here in the United States. Lots of things. I’m not here to share how I feel about all of this, but I think we can all agree, in a broad sense, that there are many questions that need to be answered. It is times like these that we all need proper leadership.
For example, take Utah State Senator Kirk Cullimore. In these turbulent times, Cullimore shows that he is a man of the people, if you are an Android user. You see, Cullimore (who is also the Utah State Majority Leader, so you know he’s a boss!) introduced a bill to make Android the state’s official mobile operating system.
SB138 emphasizes that Android should join the Rocky Mountain Elk, Dubhe, Quaking Aspen, Dutch oven and square dancing as a state symbol. For what? KSL.com reports that “Cullimore joked that its Android bill was about ‘discrimination’ from iPhone users who complain that its text messages appear in green bubbles rather than blue.” »
“One day everyone who owns an iPhone will realize that the technology is better on Android,” Cullimore said. Note his words, dear readers.
What do Utahans (Utahites? Utes?) think? According to KSL.com, when Cullimore spoke to the media about the bill, “other senators nearby just laughed.” You know, I’m sure much of the opposition laughed when Abraham Lincoln proposed the 13th Amendment. Great men and adversity go hand in hand.
Seriously, Cullimore said he doesn’t “expect this to really come out of committee.” This, from the guy who wants to move Halloween from October 31st. Seriously. As if he had absolutely nothing important to do.
But what would happen if the Utah Congress were convinced about SB138 and actually passed it? Well, great! Enjoy your green bubbles, Utah. And keep up the good work, Senator Cullimore! You took rig trolling to a whole new level that didn’t need to be reached. You certainly showed us! 🙄
