Trump’s Education Dept. Ends Free Tuition for Illegal Immigrants
The Ministry of Education (DOE) announced Thursday that it will end the subsidy of taxpayers of career, technical and adult programs for illegal immigrants.
The ministry said that it cancels the standards of the Clinton administration allowing illegal immigrants to access federal funds for these education programs, in violation of the law on personal responsibility and work opportunities (PRWORA). The new rule of interpretation of the Department of Education also indicates that illegal immigrants do not have access to Pell subsidies and student loans.

“Post -secondary education programs funded by the federal government should benefit American citizens, not illegal foreigners,” said education secretary Linda McMahon. “Under the leadership of President Trump, US workers will no longer place the bill for illegal foreigners to participate in our technical, technical or adult education programs or activities.
The DOE declared that it had written the rule in response to the executive order of President Donald Trump entitled “to put an end to the subsidy of taxpayers of the open borders”.

PRWORA limits the eligibility for federal public advantages to American citizens, permanent residents and certain categories of “qualified foreigners”.
