Iran Now on Notice for Nuclear Deal – RedState
On Wednesday, President Trump launched an offensive against Iran; it offers them the opportunity to make a deal, with some preconditions. The main precondition, set in characteristic Trump style, is the absence of nuclear weapons. The president also offers to show Iran what the “or” is.

The message states:
A huge Armada is heading towards Iran. It’s moving forward quickly, with a lot of power, enthusiasm and determination. This is a larger fleet, led by the large aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, than the one sent to Venezuela. Like Venezuela, it is ready, willing and able to quickly fulfill its mission, with speed and violence, if necessary. Let’s hope that Iran quickly “comes to the table” and negotiates a fair and just deal – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS – that is good for all parties. Time is running out, that’s really the main thing! As I already told Iran, MAKE A DEAL! They didn’t, and there was “Operation Midnight Hammer”, a major destruction of Iran. The next attack will be much worse! Don’t make this happen again. Iran, yes, should come to the table. We can certainly do a lot of damage to them without putting a single boot on the ground, and frankly, that’s not something we should consider. But there are a few other conditions that the United States should insist on, if we are to actually participate in these negotiations.

First condition: the mullahs leave. Khamenei, in particular, should leave Iran. He lost. His diary was lost. It has taken years, but the days of theocratic rule of the Ayatollah and his minions must now be over. If Putin welcomes them, fine. Suppose Xi Jinping welcomes them – it is doubtful – very well. As long as they’re not in Iran.
Second condition: free and internationally monitored elections. Every adult Iranian citizen has the right to vote. Now, I use the term “citizen” wisely, because right now, under the mullahs, in their system of self-serving fake “elections”, the Iranian people are not citizens. They barely reach the subject level. They must have free and fair elections. If this brings Reza Pahlavi back to Tehran as president of a new Iran, so be it.
It is time for Iran to change. The images we are receiving from Iran, the few video clips that have leaked since the regime cracked down on communications, are frankly horrifying. This barbaric regime has spread death and disorder throughout the world through its relentless support of Islamic terrorist groups. A free Iran – a free Persia – should be a free and prosperous place. But ultimately, only elections and the Iranian people can achieve this.
However, we can and must support them. And that certainly sounds like what President Trump is doing. He also made it clear to the regime that he was ready to show them what “or” meant.
