Cal Raleigh says Mariners’ closer was tipping pitches vs. Yankees

The Yankees had a pearl on Seattle sailors closer to Andrés Muñoz.

It is according to the receiver of M Cal Raleigh, who thinks that Muñoz switched to throws during the ninth round of the Victory of the Yankees in 6-5 victory of 6-5.

“He made him switch to the second goal each time,” said Raleigh afterwards, according to The Athletic. “Obviously, they do not make it very discreet, I suppose it is the word. It is part of the game. This is our work. We should have known it in the series. It made things very difficult there at the end.”

Yankees Baserunners Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger seemed to agitate their hands with the second goal when Muñoz launched a cursor.

Rice dismissed a 3-2 cursor which was well outside the striking area to walk and load the bases with two withdrawals. Austin Wells also took a 2-0 cursor before queuing a quick bullet in the right field for a single two points that equaled the match.

“You are trying to do as much as you can without trying to distract it from what’s going on on the plate,” said Raleigh. “This is something that we will have to understand in the coming days for sure.”

Marine Starter Bryan Woo held the Yankees without a safe blow in seven-rounds, but the Yankees broke out for three points against Woo and the lift Matt Brash in the eighth, reducing their deficit to 5-3.

This remained the scoring in the ninth, when Muñoz – a right -hander launching flames which was selected for the star team – entered the game with a 1.06 MPM.

The Yankees scored Muñoz for two points on three strokes and a walk to force the additional sleeves, where Aaron Judge delivered a walking sacrifice fly in the 10th.

“One of the best closers in the match,” said Yankees manager Aaron Boone about Muñoz. “With his angle and his business, it is really difficult for right -handers, but I had the impression that our left -handers would give him at least quality bats, and they certainly did it.”

Muñoz did not speak to journalists after the defeat, while the Mariners manager Dan Wilson said that he did not think that his closest tilted throws.

“I think we just got into difficult counts and they were able to take advantage of it,” said Wilson.

It was the sixth backup of Muñoz to save in 27 opportunities.

The return has crowned a three -game scan by the Yankees in a series titled by the two largest threats of baseball power. Raleigh struck his 36th Home Run of the MLB-Leading when the Tuesday evening series was opened, a half-manche after the judge hit his 34th.
