Major rule change coming to Wordle

Wordlers, your favorite game has just changed the rules: since Monday February 2, words already played can be reused.

“Hey, Wordlers! We have some exciting news to share,” said the New York Times said in its January 28 Gameplay newsletter, according to Tom’s Guide. “Starting Monday, we will start bringing previously performed words back into play.”

Rest assured, however, that the answers may still be new words. “There are still plenty of first-time answers, but also more chances for Wordle in those magical, serendipitous moments where Wordle overlaps with real life,” the statement continued. “Good resolution!”

Now that the old words are back in play, game makers have plenty of other options to choose from. This will likely change the way Wordlers play, especially those who compete daily. But such is the case with this five-letter word: CHANGE.
