Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 fight predictions, odds, undercard, start time, preview, expert picks

More than 20 rounds, Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano have set up a rivalry unlike everything that has already been seen in women’s boxing. Their blood and their fights that were fighting in front of a massive audience raised not only their own profiles, but that of sport as a whole, and Friday evening, they make it go back once again with the unquestioning junior junior championship of Taylor on the line.
Friday’s event is, in a way, a combination of the two previous fights. The card will take place at Legendary Garden of Madison Square from New YorkJust like their first fight in phase. And he will broadcast on Netflix, just as the Revenge match did on the Undercard of Jake Paul against Mike Tyson. This time, the card only has women’s fighting, many of which are intended for undisputed or unified titles.
The first meeting between Taylor and Serrano gave the couple a big scene in one of the most emblematic places in the world for a fight that has been labeled “the greatest fight in the history of female boxing”. The pair then delivered the goods by going all over 10 laps of two minutes.
Taylor kept his indisputable light championship by shared decision that evening in May 2022. Momentum switched back and back in the fight, Taylor taking a good start before Serrano increased the pressure to swing things. In the fifth, Serrano had shaken Taylor and about to hit the canvas, but Taylor managed to survive the Tour.
Taylor fell off his way while Serrano was before a wild end tour. In the end, Taylor took two official dashboards 97-93 and 96-93, while a judge saw the fight for Serrano 96-94.
“I have my own opinion on the stuff that Amanda said in our team, but the fact is that I am 2-0 against it. Opinions are opinions, but facts are facts and you cannot move away from these facts,” Taylor said at the final press conference. “And yes, I suppose that I am just tired of the complaints and groans of the Amanda team. I go to this fighting fight already Amanda and I plan to stay the fighter. I plan to stay 3-0 to come this Friday evening.”
There was only a slight controversy in play with the dashboards for the first fight – with the 97-93 card for Taylor considered to be particularly wide – but that would change in the revenge match.
“I am never surprised. You never know with that, we have our points of breakup and I suppose that we were in our terms of mind,” said Serrano at the last press conference. “And obviously, she has her opinion, her team has their opinion. I have my opinion, my teams, fans, people who saw had their own opinion. So that’s good.”
Although it is not in the slit of the titles, the Revenge match attracted even more eyes because of the massive audience which is difficult to listen to the shipwreck show of Jake Paul against Mike Tyson on Netflix.

Serrano again had Taylor seriously injured in the fight, this time of a big hook in the first round, and Taylor managed to survive again.
The big exchanges came more frequently in the revenge match, but it was Taylor’s head that may have had the greatest impact on the fight. Taylor has several times landed, opening a bad cut on Serrano’s eye, in which Taylor continued to drive his head.
Finally, the referee was forced to deduce a point for all Taylor’s faults, but the deduction did nothing to change the result because Taylor received a unanimous decision -making victory shocking by tens of 95 to 94 years at all levels. The decision attracted huts of the crowd live and a lot of online derision while Serrano seemed to have done more than sit to deserve the victory.
During the first meeting, Taylor won 147 of the 375 strokes at the 173 out of 624 from Serrano. The Revenge match saw the two women increase their production, Taylor landing 217 out of 529 and Serrano 324 of 734. Serrano also exceeded Taylor throughout the Tour du Tour du Rematch.
“The last chapter of Katie Taylor against Amanda Serrano, the headliner of the most stacked boxing card of the year, with a collection of best book fighters on this scene like sport has never seen before,” said MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian. “Two unified championships, three undisputed championships in one night, 21 titles in the world at stake. Everything here in New York from this emblematic place: Madison Square Garden, live worldwide on Netflix for more than 300 million subscribers.”
Friday, Serrano hopes that the judges will be more favorable to her than in the two previous events, where she only managed to win one of the six dashboards despite almost every round being slim as a razor or clearly won by Serrano.
Friday evening, four other title fights in the female divisions while Jake Paul and MVP focus on female boxing. Ellie Scotney and Yamith Mercado are ready to unify junior featherweight titles while Scotney puts its IBF and WBO Mercado WBC championships. Alycia Baumgardner punctuates her undisputed junior junior titles against Jennifer Miranda in a star fight. And a pair of Super Middleweight champions is looking for titles when Savannah Marshall faces Shadasia Green.

Prediction
Although there was a perfectly fine argument according to which Taylor deserved victory in the first fight, the second fall fairly close to the territory of “flight”. Serrano landed more punches and most of the biggest shots came from her – although Taylor had many beautiful moments. The two fights were excellent action fights, which play more in Serrano’s forces than those of Taylor, despite the results so far.
If Taylor does not find a way to keep Serrano out of her more effectively than the last fight, it is difficult to imagine that she obtains a third victory in rivalry. Serrano will want to continue to be the intimidator in the ring and Taylor was his best when she is boxed, no fights.
The fight can be summed up how Serrano throws caution in the wind knowing that it did not win the judges during their previous meetings. It could well go for her or it could mean that she is more frequently out of position and allowing Taylor to escape laterally where she can land the counters.
He is also worrying to know if Taylor is so liberal by making her head. Serrano fought well through a constant flow of blood, but it is a bigger request to beat a large boxer when you have blood flowing in your eyes. Anyway, Serrano seems to have the right mixture of skills and assaults to beat Taylor and should be able to work on Friday. Pick: Serrano via SD
