He let loose a strange, rambling tirade to reporters about how the “silent majority” is always behind what ICE does, bizarrely citing approval of the raids. among his own White House employees to assert his point of view. Interestingly, this is a survey from none other than Fox News finds Trump deep underwater on immigration. The study also finds that an overwhelming majority of independents think ICE is too aggressive. Incredibly, even the majority of rural whites and non-college whites—loyal base voter groups—think the same thing.
