Two Minnesota women, Tippy Amundson and Heather Ziemen, say that while they were detained, they helped a federal agent who was having a medical emergency. In response, the Department of Homeland Security said the women “lied” to law enforcement and remained “secured in the vehicle” during that emergency. Ed Shaw, an attorney for the women, is calling the DHS statement “disgusting.”
