President Donald Trump said devastation to Texas after sudden deadly floods is “as bad as I have seen”, but confirmed the commitment of his administration to help rebuild the Central Community of Texas on Friday on “The Will Cain Show”.
“What they have experienced, no one has seen anything like it, frankly. When you have a vague almost 40 feet high, you rush, you would think it was a dam that broke up,” said Trump on “The Will Cain Show”.
“It’s a difficult thing they are going through, but it’s an incredible community,” he continued.
The president, as well as First Lady Melania Trump, arrived in Kerrville, Texas on Friday, following massive floods that claimed the lives of more than 120 people. They met local officials and the first speakers who sail to the consequences of the sudden floods that devastated the region, after the Guadalupe river jumped more than 22 feet in a few hours.

During his visit, Trump met the families of some of the victims of the floods, including those of Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp founded almost 100 years ago for girls. Trump congratulated their “love for the community” and “how much they love their family” despite this “real tragedy”.
“We will also help this community. They love each other. I have just left this group of people. They love each other. They like the community, and they will rebuild,” he told Fox News Host Cain.

Among those who died in the floods, there were at least 27 campers and advisers of the Mystic camp. Meanwhile, more than 160 people are missing and not counted in the county of Kerry, Texas, following the floods, according to officials.
Trump also praised the “incredible work” of the authorities and volunteers in Texas who always facilitate research and rescue operations as well as to help rebuild from “devastation”.
