Defeating Weaponized Immigration ‘Battle Over the Future of Our Country’

During a special founders’ roundtable Thursday evening with Breitbart Fight Club, Peter Schweizer discussed the themes of his new book, The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weaponfocusing on how foreign actors and domestic political interests intersect through mass migration in ways that he believes have long-term consequences for American governance.
Breitbart News Editor Alex Marlow asked Schweizer to highlight the key takeaways from The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapondescribing how the book examines efforts by actors such as the Chinese and Mexican governments, the Cuban regime, and the Catholic Church to influence or undermine the American system. Marlow emphasized that what concerns him most is the number of Americans — especially elected officials — who actively support these efforts or choose to ignore them.

“When it comes to domestic collaborators, as I call them, I’m not saying these people sit in a room and say, ‘oh, let’s get together and do this thing. It’s a confluence of interests, right?'” Schweizer explained.
He cited the Mexican government’s influence on immigration patterns in the United States as an example of how foreign interests can align with domestic partisan goals.
“What Mexico wants is to exercise greater sovereignty within the United States itself. And they’re doing that, by the way, through mass migration, by rejecting assimilation, which actually helps the Democratic Party, because the Democratic Party doesn’t want assimilation,” Schweizer said.
He sets out the partisan consequences:
“People who come to the United States, at least initially, vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. When they vote, they vote 85 percent for Democrats. Democrats have known this for a long time. In 20 or 30 years, it may even out, but you have a huge advantage for 20 or 30 years.”
Democrats accept it, embrace it and encourage it because it is in their interest. Then there’s the constituency within the Democratic Party, which is the hardcore progressives, who are now basically dominant within the Democratic Party, and they realize that not only does mass migration help the Democratic Party, but also the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, and so they encourage activism and a sort of dissolution of American power through mass migration and the militarization of migration.
Schweizer continues:
“It’s a huge problem, and I’m absolutely convinced that’s why you see Democrats resisting these deportations in Minneapolis and Los Angeles and elsewhere. Remember, we’re deporting people who have criminal records, you know, rapists, child molesters, they don’t even want to see them go.”
He concluded the session by highlighting the issues at stake:
“This is the heart of the matter: Ultimately, this is a battle for the future of our country, and we must defeat militarized immigration if we are to win.”
