The word “Elon” appears semi-redacted in the latest version of the Epstein Files as the Tesla CEO responds to the mention of his name in the documents.

An email exchange dated February 20, 2013 shows correspondence between Mary Beth Brown, Mr. Musk’s assistant at the time, and Lesley Groff, Epstein’s assistant.

Ms. Brown says: “Should we have REDACTED and Jeffrey have a lunch together at SpaceX in the coming weeks?

“Elon (half redacted) is typically available at SpaceX Monday, Thursday, and Friday each week. We are located in REDACTED (about 10 minutes east of LAX), and our live stream is REDACTED.”

Ms. Groff responds: Hello DELETED. Jeffrey would like to meet you at SpaceX as you suggested. When would be the right time for you? Could you also provide an address and phone number for this location? »

Being named in the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing. Musk has denied visiting Epstein’s island.

He said he “had very little correspondence with Epstein and declined repeated invitations to visit his island or fly on his ‘Lolita Express,’ but he was well aware that some email correspondence with him could be misinterpreted and used by detractors to smear my name.”

Email exchanges between Epstein and Musk suggest they may have spent time together in the Caribbean.

An email from November 2012 appears to show Epstein asking Musk how many people he would bring for the helicopter ride to the island.

Musk replied: “Probably just Talulah and me.”

Talulah was Musk’s wife at the time.

Musk then asked: “What day/night will the craziest party be on your island?
