What happened with these AT&T data violations?
AT&T confirmed the two data violations last year, announcing an investigation into the first in March before confirming it in May and confirming the second in July.
The first confirmed violations began in 2019. The company revealed that around 7.6 million current account holders and 65.4 million old data had their data exposed to pirates, including names, social security numbers and birth dates.
