Trump Lauds Bondi’s Performance at Circus-Like Capitol Hill Hearing, Has Strong Words for Massie – RedState
It was a wild day on Capitol Hill Wednesday when Attorney General Pam Bondi testified at a congressional hearing regarding late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She brought some serious fireworks aimed at camera-loving Democrats who accused the administration of a cover-up and continued to try to link Trump to Epstein’s dirty deeds.
Bondi was combative and forceful, repeatedly refusing to take at face value heated questions from Democratic lawmakers like Reps. Zoe Lofgren (CA-18), Jerry Nadler (NY-12), Ted Lieu (CA-36) and Jamie Raskin (MD-8). If you like fireworks, this was your day.
One person who appreciated her performance was her boss, President Donald Trump, who posted on TruthSocial on Thursday to compliment her:

Trump called his performance fantastic despite pressure from TDS-riddled lawmakers who didn’t seem to care much about the Epstein files when Biden was in office and Merrick Garland was running the Justice Department:
AG Pam Bondi, under intense fire from Trump’s deranged radical left crazies, was fantastic at yesterday’s hearing on the never-ending saga of Jeffrey Epstein, where the only thing that was conclusively proven, much to their chagrin, was that President Donald J. Trump was 100% exonerated of their ridiculous Russia, Russia, Russia type accusations.
Bondi had torn Democrats, some of whom sat right across from her, for their incessant conspiracy theories during her first term about what turned out to be a “Russia-Russia-Russia” collusion scandal without saying anything.

The president went on to point out that perhaps Democrats should focus more on improving the lives of Americans rather than constantly complaining about his supposed ties to Epstein:
Nobody cared about Epstein when he was alive, they only cared about him when they thought he could create political harm to a very popular president who brought our country back from the brink of extinction, and very quickly at that! In fact, this attempt by Democrats to distract from the tremendous Republican SUCCESS is backfiring.

Trump also criticized Rep. Thomas Massie (KY-04), with whom he frequently clashed and who expressed his view that the DOJ botched the rollout of the Epstein files.
In his message, Trump separately targeted Massie, calling him a “sanctimonious RINO” and a “loser,” and said the Kentucky congressman’s job approval numbers were “collapsing.”
Trump’s criticism follows Massie’s criticism of Bondi’s defense over the Justice Department’s handling of the release of Epstein-related files.
Bondi has faced criticism from both sides of the political aisle during her tenure, particularly regarding the Epstein files, but despite many experts theorizing that she will be ousted, her job appears safe for now.
