Alalshikh offering bonus if Canelo or Crawford wins by knockout

There will already be a lot of things on the line when Canelo Alvarez will put his undisputed average online championship against Terence Crawford on September 13 in Las Vegas, live on Netflix. But to add an additional incitement, Turki Alashikh, president of the General Entertainment Authority and president of the Saudi Saudi Federation, announced that there will be a bonus for a KO.
The announcement occurred during the kick-off of Canelo-Crawford in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday. Alashikh was firm by ending “Tom & Jerry Fights”, where a fighter “flows around the ring and another fighter pursues him”. To counter this, he installed a KO bonus that will be implemented in the future fights he promotes, starting with Canelo-Crawford.
“We will not have [Tom & Jerry fights] More, “said Alashikh.” We will have in this fight and our next fight a bonus for a KO. “”
Alashikh did not specify the amount of the bonus or if it would be installed for the sub-card. The implementation reflects what its promotion partner, the CEO of the UFC, Dana White, uses in the UFC with performance bonuses.
As for the fighters, Canelo and Crawford were cordial, but severe in their confidence for the next fight.
“However, I have to fight, I’m going to win,” said Crawford (41-0, 31 KB). “I’m not going to let someone else tell me how to fight when I do this all my life. I will not run. I can tell you. But I will do a lot of touches.”

Canelo (62-2-2, 39 kos) suggested that there was nothing “different” about Crawford compared to his previous opponents and clearly indicated that he would prevent the former undeniable world champion with two division from leaving Las Vegas as the only male boxing of boxing to be incontestable in three different weight classes.
“He’s not going to fight me,” said Canelo. “Don’t worry … I’m a winner.”
Crawford has eliminated 11 of his last 12 opponents, but will jump two weight categories, from 154 to 168 pounds, to challenge the Mexican superstar. Not only will he think that his file will remain spotless, but he will also make history by adding the four major belts of the world title in a record third weight division.
“Of course, these belts come home,” said Crawford. “I take them and I have nothing you can do on this subject at night.”
