Kristi Noem’s Alleged Boyfriend Went on Crazed Journey to Get DHS Gun

Expired special employee Corey Lewandowski lashed out at federal officials when he failed to get what he wanted with a highly unusual quest.

Lewandowski, who joined the ranks of the Department of Homeland Security thanks to his proximity to the beautiful Kristi Noem, allegedly tried to get his hands on a badge and a weapon issued by the federal government, according to rumor. The Wall Street Journal.

The 52-year-old was relegated to the role of “special government employee” after being denied the position of Noem’s chief of staff. His request to senior ICE officials to be given a badge and a weapon was highly unusual, not only because of the informal nature of his employment at DHS, but also because Lewandowski never received basic pre-law enforcement training.

In a case detailed by the Newspaperthe Trump administration was considering hiring former ICE official Tom Feeley as the agency’s new director. But Lewandowski’s request – and Feeley’s rejection of it – subsequently cost Feeley the job.

Feeley wasn’t the only one to lose his job at DHS because of Lewandowski’s power-hungry crusade. Realizing he needed legal justification for the weapon, Lewandowski turned to ICE’s legal office, asking officials to issue him a legal notice recommending the weapon. One of the agency’s top lawyers, Ken Padilla, also refused.

Days later, Padilla was placed on administrative leave, then demoted and transferred to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, according to sources who spoke with the Newspaper.

Ultimately, Lewandowski got what he wanted, successfully convincing the other lawyers in the office to give in to his demands. Ultimately, it was Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons who approved Lewandowski’s request via automatic opening.

Lewandowski has been linked within MAGA for years, having made a name for himself as Donald Trump’s first campaign manager during the 2016 presidential race.
