Reds’ Jake Fraley has a partially torn labrum that he will attempt to play through this season

Cincinnati (AP) – The Right Defender of Cincinnati Reds Jake Fraley was activated on Saturday for the 10 -day injuries list.

He injured his right shoulder while trying to take a dive on June 23 against New York Yankees.

An MRI revealed a partially torn labrum which will possibly require surgery. Fraley has received a cortisone stroke and will try to play it for the rest of the season.

The Reds were 7-4 in his absence.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand, who has not played since the return of Noelvi Marte de l’I on July 4, was optionized in Triple-A Louisville.
