‘There’s a Rot’ Among Dems with People Like AOC ‘Standing with Pro-Hamas People’ Like Piker
On Saturday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Saturday in America,” Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) said that “there is a rot in my party, standing with pro-Hamas” and anti-Semites like Hasan Piker, and specifically criticized Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as an example of aligning with Piker.
Fetterman said: “Why is she so eager to criticize and find a way to criticize Israel? But I don’t really remember them saying anything when Iran was executing thousands and thousands of their protesters for this. Now, there was never a genocide in Gaza, absolutely. And there should never be conditions for aid to Israel, because they were in an existential war. That’s part of the problem with the very part anti-Israel in my party So call it that. [can’t you] stand – and why would you want to line up [with] rage [antisemites] and very pro-Hamas people like Hasan Piker?
He added: “There is a rot in my party, standing alongside pro-Hamas people like that, even within the party. The New York Timesthey are [fascinated] with him. So where we are – and call it – and stand with Israel, it is our special ally, and there has never been a genocide. And when there is a genocide, where you execute tens of thousands of people in Iran, why not denounce it too?
