Wexner Attorney Caught Scolding Him During Epstein Deposition

Billionaire Les Wexner was chastised by his own lawyer during a recent deposition before the House Oversight Committee regarding convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
A hot mic captured the moment attorney Michael Levy leaned close to Wexner’s ear and told him bluntly: New York Post reported Friday.
“I’ll kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, okay?” Levy said him, according to a video clip of the moment.
Wexner laughed and Levy said, “Answer the question.” »
“Wexner, 88, was asked about how often the disgraced financier would do work for him and start talking about all of his assets that required an inventory, something he explained he did not realize was important until he hired Epstein,” the report said. Job article noted.
The retired L Brands founder has been fielding questions related to his association with Epstein for many years, the Associated Press (AP) reported Tuesday.
“In court documents, prominent Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre claimed that Wexner was one of the men Epstein trafficked her to. Wexner has always denied any knowledge of or involvement in the millionaire financier’s crimes and claims to have never met Giuffre,” the article said. “He told L Brands investors in 2019 that he was embarrassed to have ever gotten close to someone ‘so sick, so cunning, so depraved’.”
In late January, the U.S. Department of Justice released millions of pages of Epstein files containing photos and videos.
Epstein’s 2019 death in a New York prison cell was ruled a suicide. At the time, he was awaiting trial for child sex trafficking.
Epstein managed Wexner’s wealth for many years, and during his deposition, Wexner accused him of stealing large sums of money from him.
“I completely and irrevocably severed my ties with Epstein nearly 20 years ago when I learned that he was an abuser, a con artist and a liar. I never participated in or co-conspired in Epstein’s illegal activities,” he said.
