EXCLUSIVE: Here’s How Trump Prepared For Historic State Of The Union Address

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner revealed to the Daily Caller how President Donald Trump prepared for his State of the Union address Tuesday.
Trump gave the longest State of the Union address, at 108 minutes. The president contrasted his administration to former President Joe Biden’s, and Trump’s address featured everyday Americans. Turner told the Caller that the president pours over his speeches and dissects them down to the word before delivering them. “We all know the president is very detail oriented, which has made him successful not just as a president, obviously, but in business and otherwise. And so he pays attention to every word, every phrase you know, and he goes over his speech multiple, multiple times, you know, crossing out, adding,” Turner told the Caller.
“He has such a tremendous team around him, that helps him, that listens to him, that advises him, and they really have just a sweet relationship as it pertains to preparing a message for the free world,” Turner said, adding that he saw the president prepare the address specifically for the American people.
Turner told the Caller that witnessing the president’s address was “palpable” and almost indescribable. The president spoke on affordability and how his administration would continue their work on the economy, something Turner’s department directly handles.
The secretary told the Caller about how they plan on making housing more affordable, what Biden era policies they had to reverse and more during the White House’s media row on Wednesday.
