Jasmine Crockett Showing Far-Left Liberals Can’t Handle The Heat

Elaine Godfrey, editor at The Atlantic, says she was escorted out of a rally hosted by Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett by armed guards.
“Over the past hour, I had watched Rep. Jasmine Crockett rile up her supporters… But then, as I tried to join the other reporters interviewing the lawmaker, a woman with a badge approached me,” Godfrey wrote.
The woman asked Godfrey if she was herself. Godfrey replied in the affirmative.
“[Crockett’s] The team asked you to leave,” the woman told Godfrey. When Godfrey asked why, the employee read a message on her phone.
“They just said, ‘Elaine from Atlanticwhite girl with a hat and a notepad. She interviews people in the crowd. She’s a hater of the highest order and will turn. She must leave.‘”
Crockett granted Godfrey access for a profile in 2025, before calling on the journalist to “I expressed my frustration at having contacted so many House members without telling him first. (RELATED: Jasmine Crockett gives up her race card to liberals)
Crockett told Godfrey she was “closing the profile and revoking all permissions.”

Godfrey went ahead and published the article anyway. My favorite detail from Godfrey’s profile is that the lock screen on Crockett’s phone is a “picture of herself.”
Crockett denies throwing Godfrey out of the rally, developer CBS News’ Shawna Mizelle says there’s ‘no evidence’ any reporter was asked to leave.
“There’s one reporter in particular who is, she has a history of being less than truthful, and frankly, there’s no evidence of what she’s talking about. I haven’t seen anything and we’ve been asked whether or not…if anything like that had happened. Nothing like that has happened,” Crockett said, shrugging his shoulders.
Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, said Semafor that “one of the publication’s reporters had been registered to attend an event with Crockett in Texas, but was asked to leave and escorted off the field after he began asking questions.
“I will say that about this reporter, she has already been sued for defamation and lying,” Crockett continued. “So it’s sad that a news outlet has him on staff when, you know, as a journalist, the only thing that matters most is the truth.” (RELATED: Jasmine Crockett Says She Hasn’t Been Guest on Colbert’s Show Since Opponent Segment Was Removed)
Godfrey specifies, with regard to defamation suits: “Maybe [Crockett] I was thinking of someone else, because it’s not something that’s ever happened to me.
Crockett’s campaign reportedly called Capitol Police on CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere in early February: “claiming he may have entered without authorization when he tried to go to a campaign office,” according to Semafor.
Crockett appears to be a a little too used to being coddled by the left-wing media. When journalists are far from being sycophants, she closes ranks.
