Trump Urges Iranians to Take Back Their Country — ‘The Hour of Your Freedom Is at Hand’ – RedState
As we reported, the United States and its longtime ally Israel launched coordinated strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran after ongoing negotiations failed to convince the mullahs to abandon their nuclear dreams.
Of course, the despotic Iranian regime has already responded and is launching missiles at its sworn enemy, the Jewish state of Israel.
As RedState editor Jennifer Van Laar reported, the president made remarks as the attacks unfolded. But one thing he said is important to emphasize: he explicitly called on the Iranian people to rise up.
Remember when former President Barack Obama didn’t support them during the Green Movement in 2009? Millions of people took to the streets to protest oppression, obvious voter fraud, and basic human rights, but Obama’s lukewarm “support” didn’t help them at all.

Of course, Obama then passed the harmful 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, which gave them billions of dollars and no accountability. Now the chickens have come home to roost.

Barry has since admitted his recalcitrance was a “mistake”.
Former US President Barack Obama admitted he made “a mistake” by not supporting the Iranian People’s Green Movement against the Islamic Republic in 2009.
Speaking on a podcast on Friday, he described the lack of public support for the 2009 protests as a missed opportunity to support the democratic aspirations of the Iranian people, saying: “In retrospect, I think it was a mistake. Every time we see a flash, a glimmer of hope, of a people yearning for freedom, I think we need to celebrate it. shine the spotlight on it. We need to express some solidarity on this.

Yeah, that’s a big miss, Barack, considering those barbarians held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days starting in 1979 (and didn’t end until Republican President Ronald Reagan took over).
Trump already eliminated the sadistic and psychopathic Major General Qasem Soleimani in 2020, during his first term, but the Iranian regime survived. Let’s hope this is the end of them, and that whatever their gods are takes pity on them. However, they deserve no pity, because they have shown throughout their history that they are murderous, savage and consumed by hatred, and that they have no place in modern society.
I suppose I’m not the only one hoping that this operation marks their permanent demise.
