Wessam Abou Ali was scored in the second straight game, when he lost the ball in the 33rd minute to play Columbus a 1-0 victory that held until the end.
Sporting KC also played three minutes into the second season, while Joveljić provided assistance from Jake Davis and Calvin Harris to monitor the club’s first game in the period.
Joveljić had 18 goals and 32 games last season, as the Los Angeles Galaxy won the La Liga championship in 2024.
Joveljić managed to score Sporting KC 2-1 with a goal in the 72nd place.
Patrick Schulte discovered two disparities in the Crew’s management – the first time under Henrik Rydström after Wilfried Nancy left to manage in Escocia.
