These Were ‘Incredibly Precise and Successful Strikes’ on Iran

On CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) boasted that U.S. military strikes against Iran were “incredibly precise and successful strikes” that “took out most of the leadership.”
Fetterman said, “Well, of course, it’s not unlimited. You know, my support was that they could never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear bomb. I think every member of the Senate says we should never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear bomb. President Trump was willing to do that to make sure that didn’t happen. If just tweeting and using harsh, harsh language had been effective, Iran would not have been on the path to acquiring the nuclear bomb These are the kinds of things that are needed now. Let’s never do it. And funding the proxies that they were behind – 7/10, and continuing to do these things, so to me, do you really want to have real peace in the Middle East? So let’s do it.”
He added: “So now, if of course it’s not unlimited now, have people ever read the War Powers Act? You know, what’s required of the president is to provide notification within 48 hours, and then he or she has 60 days, up to 90 days to withdraw those troops. You know, before Congressional approval, neither of those two things were activated. He provided that to the door of the Gang of Eight. And he there are no American troops on the ground now. It was an incredibly, incredibly precise and successful strike and they took out most of the leaders. So there you go, so yes, I support that, why can’t the whole world celebrate his death for what he did to the world?
