When I started hearing 14th Night being called an “industry secret,” everything clicked. I started getting messages from stylists I’ve admired for a long time, then seeing women like [supermodels] Karen Elson and Carolyn Murphy, natural beauties with access to every product imaginable, organically share their love for the brand. This quiet, word-of-mouth adoption made me realize that people who were really in the know were finding it, using it, and loving it.

Turn off my computer and watch the sunset, on the beach or along New York’s West Side Highway, then meet friends for dinner or drinks. Putting my phone away and laughing at good food seems simple, grounding, and quietly decadent.
Your favorite thank you gift?
I don’t have a single date because I try to keep my “thank you” personal. I love offering something rooted in a detail of a conversation. If someone mentions their morning coffee ritual, I’ll bring my favorite beans from a local roaster. If they’re planning a trip to the beach, I’ll put together a little TSA-friendly travel set for them, including of course the Mini Nourishing Duo and the Hair Elixir!

I’m naturally drawn to the more social aspects of my job—meeting with stylists, editors, and retailers—so when I’m doing something more solitary like budgeting or planning, I have a change of environment. I’ll work in a busy coffee shop, in a hotel lobby, or alongside a friend to make it more connected and energizing. Finding small ways to bring joy and intention into daily tasks can completely change the way work feels.

An herbalist. I am endlessly fascinated by the benefits of natural plants, and thanks to 14th Night’s formulation, I have happily gone down many rabbit holes to discover the antioxidant-rich properties of our ingredients.

The Hair Elixir, always. That’s where it all started. I originally created it for myself, drawing inspiration from nourishing oils passed down from my Persian heritage, long before there was a brand.
This blend of pomegranate, argan and almond oils has become the heart of 14th Night and is now found in every formula. Beyond that, it represents confidence because it was the product I reached for when my hair needed restorative moisture, and the one that gave me the confidence to believe I had something worth sharing. I still use it every day, on wet or dry hair, before styling to smooth and protect, or simply as a ritual. He always keeps his promises.
