Vivo barely has a presence outside of China, but that seems to be changing with the company’s next flagship phone. At the Mobile World Conference 2026, the company unveiled the X300 Ultra smartphone featuring a 200 MP sensor along with two accessories designed for professional photographers and content creators: a SmallRig video cage and a Zeiss 400mm telephoto lens.

Vivo didn’t go into detail about the phone’s specifications, but you can probably expect a premium processor, display, battery, and other internals when it’s fully revealed later. Vivo said that like the X300 Pro, the X300 Ultra will have an impressive 200 MP main camera sensor and will likely offer features like Dolby Vision HDR 4K 120 fps recording.

Another thing that Vivo revealed is that you will be able to get the Vivo X300 Ultra with a 400mm equivalent lens accessory called the Vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra. This will allow approximately eight times zoom over the native field of view, and much more when combined with high-quality digital zoom. It will also offer optical image stabilization and motion tracking focusing technology, says Vivo.

Alongside the lens, Vivo is introducing a “pro-grade camera cage” designed by popular accessories company SmallRig. It’s expandable and offers multiple cold shoe mounts and quick-release ports so you can easily add things like grips, lights, and microphones. It also comes with dedicated physical buttons for touch shutter and zoom adjustment, as well as a multi-level cooling fan to keep the phone cool. You also get an “external lens extension frame” to accommodate the X300 Ultra telephoto lens extender.

Vivo presented the phone at MWC 2026 in Barcelona with great enthusiasm. The company emphasized that the X300 Ultra would be coming to international markets, but it didn’t say yet or at what price (the The move, he said, “signals Vivo’s more proactive and confident approach to expanding its presence in the global premium smartphone segment.” Given the likely price, though, it’s questionable whether professional creators will want to buy it instead of, say, a nice mirrorless camera and lens.
