‘If No Action Was Taken Now, No Action Could Be Taken in the Future’ – RedState

As the joint U.S.-Israeli Operation Epic Fury continues to destabilize the Islamic Republic of Iran, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Monday evening with Fox News’ Sean Hannity and said it must be done now — before it is simply too late.
And too late, he wanted to say that if the mullahs acquired nuclear weapons and continued their warlike and terrorist actions, we risked seeing Israel reduced to pieces and the whole world plunged into war.
Watch:
Prime Minister Netanyahu said swift action was needed to prevent Iran from making its nuclear and missile programs untouchable, praising President Trump for taking decisive action:

Despite claims by many Democrats that there was no imminent threat from the murderous regime, the main sponsor of terrorism, Netanyahu said they could not be more misinformed. Hannity’s tweet continues:
The reason we had to act now is because they were. After hitting their nuclear sites and ballistic missile program, you would think they learned a lesson, but they haven’t because they are unreformable. They are totally fanatical about it – about the goal of destroying America. So they started building new sites, new places, underground bunkers that would make their ballistic missile program and their atomic bomb program immune within months. If no action was taken now, no action could be taken in the future. And then they could target America. They could blackmail America. They could threaten us and threaten everyone in between. It was therefore necessary to act. And it took a determined president like Donald J. Trump to take this action.
Asked about conspiracy theories circulating on social media that Donald Trump was his puppet and was just doing whatever he wanted with the operation, the prime minister could only laugh. “It’s ridiculous,” he said.
Hannity: There are people who say you dragged Trump into this.
Netanyahu: *laughs* That’s ridiculous. Donald Trump is the strongest leader in the world. pic.twitter.com/kWUHik2zzu

Netanyahu:
[Trump] does what he thinks is good for America. He also does what he thinks is good for future generations. And frankly, we are partners in this effort, because I have dedicated my life to ensuring the life of the one and only Jewish state, and believe me, it has been a struggle.
He then detailed the heartbreak he himself experienced in combat and that, although he understood that war was horrible, sometimes murderous regimes had to be eliminated:
I experienced the horrors of war. I lost a brother in war… In combat, I myself fought terrorists and was injured freeing hostages from a hijacked plane. I held a classmate in my arms when I was 18 and he died in my arms.
I know the cost of war. But I know sometimes that war is necessary to protect us from people who would destroy us. And this is what free societies must understand.
“It’s not an endless war,” he added. “This is something that will mark the beginning of an era of peace.”
