Nicole Kidman opens up about family life after Keith Urban divorce

Nicole Kidman has addressed her family situation three months after finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Keith Urban.

With a handful of highly anticipated projects hitting the big screen, Kidman, 58, is poised for another banner year, despite a self-imposed hiatus in 2025.

“I was quiet,” she told Variety. “There was something else going on. I was in my shell.”

She added: “Now I’m able to say, ‘2026. Here we go.’ I have “Practical Magic” with Sandy [Bullock]. I’ll be in full witch mode. “

The Oscar-winning actress will reprise her role as witch sister Gillian Owens in the sequel to the cult ’90s film this summer.

Kidman also stars as a medical examiner in the film adaptation of “Scarpetta” this spring and is currently filming the third season of Taylor Sheridan’s “Lioness.”

When asked if she’s “doing okay” since her split from the country music star, Kidman admitted that she’s doing fine and doing her best to move forward.

“I am, because I’m always going to go for what’s right,” she said. “What I’m grateful for is my family, keeping it the way it is and moving forward. That’s it.”

In January, the “Moulin Rouge” actress finalized her divorce from ex-husband Keith Urban after nearly 20 years of marriage.

In the settlement, Kidman, 58, was named as the primary parent of their two minor daughters. Urban will have “parenting time” every other weekend unless otherwise noted.

Neither party received alimony and child support was set at $0. The Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences.
