He played the full 90 minutes of their narrow 0-1 defeat to title challengers Glasgow Rangers. Devaney was excellent with the ball, completing 94% of his passes on the day.
The youngster also made his only dribble attempt of the match. He was very involved with 70 touches of the ball and did not hesitate against such illustrious opponents.
Devaney also won five of his ground duels and two tackles in a strong and combative display. He also made two interceptions and a clearance, which was a good defensive performance for his team.
Devaney could next be in action when St Mirren take on Falkirk on Saturday afternoon, when he could face compatriot Ethan Williams.

Enzo Kana-Biyik
The young French star played the final eight minutes in a 0-2 loss to Young Boys for FC Lausanne-Sport.
He made a key pass in the game, but failed to make a shot during his limited time on the court. Kana-Biyik won his only aerial duel of the match, however, as he tried to help his team find a consolation goal.
His teammate Sekou Koné did not come off the bench during the match.
The United duo could be in action next Sunday when Lausanne travel to Lucerne.
Hannah Blundell
United Women had a disappointing day, losing the League Cup final 0-2 to Chelsea, but their loanee Blundell came through.
