This Matter-compatible smart light switch is 2 for $20 now

My smart home life became much better once I replaced my old switches with Tapo ones. The benefits were numerous, including the fact that I no longer had to get up from the sofa to turn off the lights, which was great in winter when I was already snug under the covers!
Although the exact model I own is not for sale, a similar model is the Tapo S505 from TP-Link. Today you can get this 2-pack for $20 on Amazon.
These switches are actually more versatile than the model I own because they are Matter compatible. This means you can seamlessly integrate them with any smart home system you have, whether it’s Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, or Apple Home. And Matter enables seamless communication over the local network, ensuring your switches still work even if your internet connection goes down.
Designed for everyday use, these smart switches are easy to integrate into your daily routines and the Tapo app is intuitive to use. Once you have everything set up, all you have to do is ask your smart assistant to turn the lights on or off, and it will!
Note that this smart light switch model requires a neutral wire, so if your electrical system does not have one, this model will not work for you. And if you’ve never done electrical work before, you should hire a professional to install it. You know, for security reasons.
At $20 for a 2-pack, these smart switches aren’t too expensive and are a great way to improve your home. Get them on sale while you can!
