See the median price for Greene County home listings in February

The median Greene County home was listed for $322,500 in February, up 6.3% from $303,498 the month before, according to an analysis of Realtor.com data.

Compared to February 2025, the median listed home price increased 5.1%, from $306,898.

The median Greene County home was 1,811 square feet, listed at $170 per square foot. The price per square foot of homes for sale is virtually unchanged from February 2025.

Listings in Greene County have been moving quickly, with a median time on market of 60 days compared to the February national median of 70 days on the market. The previous month, homes had a median time on the market of 65 days. Approximately 388 homes were newly listed on the market in February, a decrease of 4% from the 404 new listings in February 2025.

In Missouri, median home prices were $295,000, the same as in January. The median Missouri home listed for sale was 1,699 square feet, with a price of $172 per square foot.

In the United States, the median home price was $403,450, a slight increase from the previous month. The median U.S. home for sale was listed at 1,791 square feet, with a price of $223 per square foot.

The median list price of homes used in this report represents the midpoint of all homes or units listed over the given time period. Experts say the median offers a more accurate view of what’s happening in a market than the average list price, which would mean taking the sum of all listed prices then dividing it by the number of homes sold. The average can be distorted by a particularly low or high price.
