Dana White responds to Jon Jones’ Claims about $15 million offer

Dana White has doubled down on her stance that Jon Jones would never be part of the White House plan.
Jones is not fighting for the UFC White House card in June, although he has been trying to secure a spot since the event was first mentioned. Jones recently claimed he was willing to fight Alex Pereira for much less than he charged to fight Tom Aspinall last year. However, the UFC was reportedly unwilling to offer more than $15 million to Jones, who believed it wasn’t enough.
“I was ready, willing and physically able to step in,” Jones wrote on
No question of going to hell
White responded to Jones’ claims during the UFC London post-fight press conference on Saturday. White maintains that Jones was never part of the plan for the White House card.
“How many fucking times do I have to say that?” » » said White. “He never fought on the White House card…There was no way I was going to put him on that card, no matter the money. Jon Jones would never fight on the White House card.”
Jones (28-1) kept the heavyweight division on hold for over a year, while White continued to promise fans that “Bones” would fight interim champion Aspinall. However, Jones retired in June 2025 without fighting Aspinall. Jones would return to the drug testing pool a few weeks later, after plans for the White House card were mentioned. Jones continued to rally for a spot on the card, even begging White.
When Jones missed, White claimed he was never part of the plan. However, the former two-time UFC champion lashed out on social media, hinting at lengthy negotiations with the promotion regarding fights at the White House. Jones has since requested his release from the UFC.
