Long lines out the door at Atlanta airport, ICE agents arrive to assist TSA

New video shows federal agents, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to help TSA get through long security lines.
Channel 2’s Brittany Kleinpeter spotted several officers wearing vests with police/ICE tags as they were escorted to security areas Monday. Kleinpeter also saw where the lines at the airport were out the gate and snaking through the drop-off area.
The latest information on the partial shutdown and the length of lines extended, on Channel 2 Action News This Morning streaming on WSB Now.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Sunday it would send federal agents to airports with the worst lines due to the partial government shutdown.

TSA workers have not received pay for three weeks now as the partial government shutdown continues. And the Atlanta airport says about 30 to 40 percent of agents have called in recent days.
ABC News reports that federal immigration agents will be present at the following airports. The list is subject to change, according to the ABC News source.
