Leonid “Leo” Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, has died, the adult content site announced Monday. He was 43 years old.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” the company told Quartz. “His family has requested privacy during this difficult time.”

Radvinsky had owned a majority stake in OnlyFans since 2018. He was recently in talks to sell the adult content company that has seen astronomical growth during the pandemic, Bloomberg reported. Had the deal gone through, OnlyFans would have been valued at $5.5 billion.

As of 2021, Radvinsky had collected $1.8 billion in dividends from the company and Bloomberg estimated his net worth at $3.8 billion.

In 2024, Radvinsky transferred his shares of Fenix ​​International Limited, which owns OnlyFans, into a trust, the company said.

Radvinsky was born in Ukraine, but grew up in Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University. An OnlyFans spokesperson said Radvinsky, known for his media shyness, was also an angel investor in numerous companies.
