Anne Hathaway Found a Fresh Way to Style White Pants for Spring 2026

The devil wears Prada; the angel wears neutrals. Anne Hathaway managed to mix basics in a way that made minimalism loud again, combining leopard print and bright white to create an ensemble that’s eye-catching without leaning too far into a particular trend.
Stepping out for dinner with her husband and their two sons in Milan, Italy, the Oscar-winner wore a white T-shirt and white trousers under a leopard print car coat, the relaxed, belt-less alternative to the trench coat. The style is less mob wife aesthetic and more CBK in cheetah. Italian food in an all-white outfit? Braver than the troops.
She accessorized with black clogs and large sunglasses, leaving her face makeup-free and her hair long and loose. Could she be hiding a T-shirt train under that coat or did she leave that idea behind?

Anne Hathaway recently made an appearance at the Academy Awards, where she presented the award for achivevment in costume design alongside Anna Wintour and got coldly (and jokingly) rebuffed when she asked the fashion icon for feedback on her outfit. Wintour simply donned her signature sunglasses and dryly announced, “and the nominees are…”
Well, we thought she looked nice, and it’s a good thing the star has her style ducks in a row, as she’s about to be on a non-stop press tour for the rest of the year. Hathaway has five films coming out before 2027, starting with the pop opera Mother Mary in April, then the Devil Wears Prada sequel in May, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in July, sci-fi flick Flowervale Street in August, and the Colleen Hoover adaptation Verity in October. That’s Nicole Kidman levels of booked and busy, but with theaters and red carpets attached. The stylists and their assistants are going to be tired. Maybe they should try Anne’s baby braids trick for looking more awake…
