House Democrat Gives Away the Game During Heated Exchange on DHS Funding Stalemate – RedState
That Democrats want to protect criminal illegal immigrants from deportation is not exactly breaking news, considering their hysterical reactions and theatrics to the mass deportations that occurred in 2025 and into 2026 as a result of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on people who were here illegally.
But to hear them so brazenly admit that it’s at the core of their refusal to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) amid the terrorist attacks and threats against the homeland, as well as the long airport lines and TSA workers not getting paid, just adds a whole new layer of despicable to it.
That is exactly what happened on Wednesday, when Democrat Rep Jason Crow (CO-06), a member of the “Seditious Six,” blurted the quiet part out loud regarding the Democrats’ true priorities during an interview on Fox News.

Crow was speaking to host Will Cain about the Democrat-led DHS funding standoff, which is headed into its sixth week, when Cain was able to get Crow to point-blank admit all of this was about protecting illegal immigrants from deportation.
When Cain then informed Crow that deporting illegals was part of ICE’s job, Crow then lied and said American citizens were being deported:

It was yet another mask-off moment for Democrats, similar to the one we saw from Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) in February 2024 about illegal immigrants:
In the clip, posted on Monday night by the conservative influencer account End Wokeness, MSNBC host Chris Hayes asked Murphy in 2024 about negotiations between Democrats and Republicans happening at the time about a border security bill. Hayes pressed Murphy on why Democrats were pushing to get funding for Ukraine instead of pushing for a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, as the party had done in the past.
“Well, I mean, Chris, that’s been a failed play for 20 years,” Murphy replied. “So you are right that that has been the Democratic strategy for 30 years, maybe, and it has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.”
