Israel and Iran continue tit-for-tat attacks

The Israeli military on Sunday reported attacks on Tehran and other targets targeting Iranian infrastructure and power structures.
Iran’s Fars news agency, linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reported that missiles struck a residential area south of Tehran. Ten people died in the attack, including six Afghan migrants, Fars said.
US-based Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA) reported on Saturday that attacks on Iran in recent days were the most violent since the current war began on February 28. HRANA said 74% of attacks targeted the Tehran region.
The organization estimates the death toll to date at 3,400 people, including at least 1,500 civilians.
Iranian forces continued their attacks against Israel. Air raid sirens were heard in cities across the south of the country. Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency medical service said no injuries were reported. Iranian media confirmed the attacks.
Israeli media reported that the attacks targeted Dimona, in the Negev desert, where Israel’s nuclear reactor is located.
An attack a week ago left dozens injured and destroyed a residential area.
