Today Is the Last Day to Save up to $150 on the PS5 Before Prices Spike

The price of gasoline is not the only thing to increase. Starting tomorrow, April 2, prices for all PlayStation 5 consoles and PlayStation Portal will increase by up to $150. This isn’t a surprise, since we’ve heard about the cost of chips and storage increasing over the years; Add in pricing and continued strong demand for consoles, and you start to see the bigger picture.
Luckily, it’s not too late: you can still save up to $150 by purchasing refurbished consoles directly from the PlayStation Direct Store, which are backed by a one-year warranty and have been tested to work like new, provided you act quickly.
Here are all the consoles you can still get today before the price hike takes effect:
In the future, the base PS5 Slim model will cost $649.99, but you can get a refurbished one today for $449. If you don’t mind downloading your games and playing them from the cloud, the Slim Digital Edition PS5 will cost $599.99 tomorrow, but you can get a refurbished one today for $399. An original non-thin PS5 version reconditioned disk with 825 GB is $399 Today.

The PS5 Pro sees the biggest price increase. It is $749 today, but it will be $899.99 tomorrow. The PlayStation Portal Remote Player isn’t immune to the price hike either: you can get one today for $199but starting tomorrow it will reach $249.
