Let the awakened ignore reality.
In the latest episode of Woke Progressives Gone Wild, former soccer player Megan Rapinoe is back to her usual shenanigans, denying biology in favor of guys playing women’s sports. You would think that having been a soccer player, a sport that I believe requires speed, strength, agility and endurance, she would know better; but she clearly doesn’t know or care about the differences between men and women.
Former US women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe has criticized the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for implementing a new policy aimed at ensuring fairness in women’s competitions.
The IOC stated that “eligibility for any women’s category event at the Olympic Games or any other IOC event, including individual and team sports, is now limited to biological females, determined based on a one-time SRY gene screening.”
It’s pretty simple: if a potential player has an X chromosome and a Y chromosome, they are men and they compete against men. If said player has two X chromosomes, then they are women and they are playing against women. It’s quite simple, and besides, we can do without the redundancy of “biological females”; sex is a matter of biology. You can just say “woman.”
These are facts, and it is these facts that caused Rapinoe to explode again.
“They announced a new policy that they call, I can’t even believe they’re calling it that because it has nothing to do with protecting women. I feel like two people, who have played at the highest level in every competition possible, disagree with that and never felt like it was an issue at all, “Protecting Women. [Women’s] Category.'”
Rapinoe rejected the idea that the policy was rooted in science and said the IOC was subjecting women to “invasive testing.”
She still had something to say, but these few words were enough to establish that she was not interested in science, nor in biology, nor in reality. Let’s deconstruct his statement, shall we?

Sorry, guys: The IOC just dealt a major blow to men participating in women’s Olympic sports
First: this IOC policy, also long-awaited, aims precisely to protect women. It’s about protecting real women from being lost, or even hurt, by guys pretending to be women. Men, who are massively bigger, faster, stronger, with more endurance than women, men who retain this difference even after estrogen treatment.
These are facts.
Second, this policy is rooted in science. Men and women are different. The difference is not “assigned”, it is genetically determined from conception. Numerous peer-reviewed and published studies have identified differences before and after puberty. It’s science. This is reality.
These are facts.
Finally, the test is not invasive. A cheek swab, by definition, is not invasive. An invasive procedure is one in which the skin, a mucous membrane or the border between blood tissues is pierced. This is not necessary for a DNA sample.
These are facts.
Megan Rapinoe has to take a coin to the corner store and buy a clue. Meanwhile, the IOC finally makes the right choice. GOOD.
