Artemis II got me thinking about space — then I found Lego’s surprisingly interactive set

Since April 1, 2026, it’s safe to say that space is a priority – and following the crew of Artemis II was simply incredible. From the very first iPhone selfies taken in orbit to the anticipation surrounding today’s lunar flyby, it feels like we have a front-row seat to history in the making.

And that got me thinking: Didn’t Lego make an Artemis set? They did it. And not only is it surprisingly affordable and stock, it’s also incredibly interactive, featuring a Technic crank that lets you recreate all three stages of the launch.

So I went down the rabbit hole of space-themed Lego sets and remembered how many of them the brick brand made. Many remain faithful to realism, including the Artemis, the Milky Wayand even the Mars Rover Perseverance. There are of course some fun ones too.
