Lexus Refreshes the LC 500—While Whispers of Its Exit Grow
Lexus refreshes LC 500 – while the whispers of its output originally developed on Autoblog.
LC 500 soldiers until 2026
Last month, a report from Japan suggested that the LC 500, undoubtedly the coolest car in Lexus in the range, made the Dodo path. Lexus did not confirm the news, but the signs were there. The LC 500 was not exactly a high volume model for the Japanese luxury brand, with premium vehicle buyers gravitating more to the most practical SUVs.
However, Lexus made a surprise decision by introducing a year of model 2026 for the LC 500, probably your last chance to get their hands on the GT flagship. Rather than disappearing quietly in the background, the signage plate is one more in the spotlight, with new finishes, an updated technology and a pair of elegant limited versions.

Limited inspiration series for the coupe and the convertible
The LC 500 coupe and the convertible return for 2026 with light refinements and special variants under the banner of the inspiration series. For the coupé (limited to 200 units), Lexus offers an exclusive smoked matt gray paint finish, associated with black forged alloy wheels and carbon fiber films, including the roof panel, the fixed rear spout and the front ducks. Subtle touches blackened on the grille, lighting and rocking panels give the car a more aggressive edge.
Inside, the coupe has a dramatic black and white leather interior with sport seats, a Mark Levinson audio system, a head -up display and red brake calipers. The active rear direction is also included, improving manipulation without compromising driving quality.
The LC 500 convertible version obtains its separate treatment. Its inspiration series model (limited to 350 units) has an exterior color of a single wind, associated with a gentle and silver top. Inside, the cabin is finished in bronzed and white semi-Aniline leather and includes the Lexus climate concierge system, which warms the upper body for open driving comfort. It also comes standard with a differential performance and limited rear performance rod.
The two models can be more personalized as part of the tailor -made construction program, allowing owners to specify wheels, spoilers, roof or higher treatments, interior topping and even unique construction badges.
Lexus
Always propelled by V8, but more hybrid
The Made-In-Japan LC 500 remains faithful to its identity under the hood. Lexus abandoned the hybrid variant for 2026, making this V8 your only option – adjusted, perhaps, for what could be the last chapter of the LC. The V8 with a natural suction of 5.0 liters continues, offering 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels by a 10-speed automatic transmission. The cut cut from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, while the convertible does it in 4.6.
The price starts at $ 101,700 for the coupe and $ 109,200 for the convertible, directed to American exhibition halls towards the end of the year.
