FBI Director Kash Patel ‘Is Just Not Qualified for the Job’
On MS NOW’s “All In” Tuesday, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said FBI Director Kash Patel is “simply not qualified for the job.”
Host Chris Hayes said, “Congressman, it seems to me that there’s sort of a really troubling and dangerous dynamic where people in Trump’s orbit, particularly those, associate the Justice Department and law enforcement when they’re on the ice with him, and then have to do things that might please them, which means sort of upping the ante or inciting abuses of power.”
Raskin said, “Yes. Well, we saw it with Pam Bondi, we saw it with Kristi Noem, and the only thing they like more than suing the media is suing the government, because then they can settle the case against themselves and give themselves millions of dollars.”
He added: “Kash Patel is really on the run now. I mean, this is a guy that the public has long understood is just not qualified for this job and is nothing more than, you know, a political sycophant and a stooge of Donald Trump. He’s going after everyone who participated in the prosecution of the January 6 rioters and insurrectionists. He’s, you know, always been anti-gay. He’s fired. many people, simply for political reasons, in the FBI And he was actively engaged in the cover-up of the crimes associated with Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell, and he led the opposition to the release of all the files. So people understood that he also had his personal problems, he abused the privileges of his office, misused the jets and planes for himself and his girlfriend.
