Hakeem Jeffries Launches Wild Attack on SCOTUS in Wake of Voting Rights Decision – RedState
If you needed any extra impetus to get out to the polls in November and convince anyone else in their right mind to join you, it might be because of the feverish and disjointed remarks from Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08).
Democrats are losing what little spirit they have left after the 2007 Supreme Court decision. Louisiana v. Callaisthe Voting Rights Act case that could lead to redistricting that helps Republicans. This cannot happen or the Democrats could lose power.
We just had an attack on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner that was allegedly aimed at Team Trump.

Yet here is Jeffries addressing the Supreme Court with some very charged rhetoric, saying, “Everything is on the table – everything. »

“Everything is on the table – everything – to deal with this corrupt MAGA majority that is spouting political views designed to bolster the prospects of the Republican Party, and we will not allow them to succeed.”
So much for stopping inflammatory speeches. Like I said, give them a few days and they’ll do it again immediately. “We will not allow them to succeed,” he proclaimed. What does this mean? The Supreme Court is your last call; you can’t get around it. The correct answer is supposed to be: “Well, we’re not happy with it, but it’s the final decision.” This certainly sounds like a threat to our democracy – it’s a shameful way to talk about the Court.
It also looks like it’s an incentive. He may be talking about trying to pack the Court. They tend to fall back on these thoughts when they fail and grind their teeth. But again, they don’t care about the Constitution and the law; all they care about is that it could significantly harm their power.
Jeffries talks about the Court issuing political opinions. But if he wants to excite the Court, isn’t that just a way of ensuring that he gets opinions that will please him more?

Jeffries also defames the Supreme Court. What evidence does he have that their decision is “corrupt”? I’ll answer that for him: no proof. Acting according to the Constitution and not helping Democrats does not make something “corrupt,” no matter how much Democrats scream and scream.
That’s really what’s obvious there. He’s so angry. He knows it’s bad for them and they don’t have many options. This is why we should never vote people like these into power and eliminate them as soon as possible.
