Aaron Judge’s cleats feature logo of his dogs, Penny and Gus

Aaron Judge’s four-legged companions got a stylish shout out via the New York Yankees star’s shoes Friday night.
Before the Yankees’ game against the Baltimore Orioles, Judge debuted a pair of custom Nike cleats featuring a logo of his dogs on the heel. The cream-colored cleats featured beige suede overlays, a matching brown Nike swoosh and an off-white sole, while the dachshund-inspired logo appeared stitched near the rear.

The seven-time All-Star is the proud parent of two long-haired blonde dachshunds named Penny and Gus. The canine duo are no strangers to attention. Last year, Gus and Penny inspired the official plush toys sold at the Yankee Stadium Team Store near Section 119, with a portion of the proceeds going to a canine charity. .
The couple also went viral for their appearance in a video during Judge’s interview after he was named the 2025 American League MVP. And in 2023, cameras captured Judge and Gus playing together in the outfield at Yankee Stadium.
Judge has been one of baseball’s most productive hitters in early 2026, entering Friday tied for the MLB lead with 12 home runs. The Yankees captain also has five doubles, five stolen bases and 20 RBIs through New York’s first 31 games.
Judge’s strong start helped the Yankees achieve the best record in the American League, with a 20-11 record on Friday.
As Judge’s MVP-caliber play has continued into 2026, Friday night’s cleats made one thing clear: For the Yankees star, the real MVPs could be waiting at home on all fours.
