Dallas Cowboys news: Jerry Jones buries Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott, other defenders on Day 1 of camp

Each group of friends has this person who only has to win each argument, or to go into the last word during each discussion.
It can be humorous in a group cat, but it can be squarely frustrating when this person is the owner and managing director of your favorite football team.
If the Dallas cowboys fan in your life does not respond to the texts at the moment, you may want to give them space. While the Cowboys opened the training camp on Monday, they held their annual press conference on the camp before the training featured the new head coach Brian Schottenhe, executive vice-president Stephen Jones and, of course, Jerry Jones.
The owner of Dallas made sure to pass his point of view.
A major scenario faced by cowboys is the status of contract of the Rusher Pass Micah Parsons, which realized the training camp despite the missing parties of the compulsory off -season program of the team. Parsons is in the last year of his recruit contract and looking for a long -term extension with the cowboys, but an agreement has not yet been materialized.
While Jones was delighted to see Parsons showing up at the training camp, this excitement was tempered.
More than a little.
Jerry Jones: “I appreciate Micah [Parsons] be here. “”
But, says Jones, the cowboys will face Parsons for missing part of the mandatory intersane program.
Jones has repeatedly stressed the importance of leadership when he asked him about parsons.

Super start.
But Jones’ posture did not stop there.
#Cowboys The owner Jerry Jones takes a blow on a blow on Micah Parsons, saying that even if they sign it, that does not mean that they have it because he was injured for 6 games last year (verification of the facts: he only missed 4).
He also says that they made Dak Prescott the richest player in football -… pic.twitter.com/g6t8fneox

Play the injury card. Masterful Gambit, Mr. Jones. Recalling Kyle Shanahan’s comments on mortality.
Prescott was not the only other member of the list that Jones raised during the press conference. The owner also mentioned Trevon Diggs and Terence Steele, who signed extensions with the team earlier in their respective contract cycles than Parsons, Prescott and Ceedee Lamb.
Jones seemed to question at the press conference if Dallas should have concluded these transactions.
Jerry Jones on the difference with cowboys players who get offers early like Trevon Diggs and Terence Steele: frankly … would we have had to wait Diggs and Steele?

Let us turn it to our good friend RJ Ochoa of Blog boys::
To be clear, Diggs and Steele have both underperformed in some respects since the signing of their respective extensions with the team. But for the owner, managing director and president of the team team, to involve this so publicly, and do it in fact if ever, was quite the choice to say the least. He barely establishes a spirit of good will and (we would probably suppose) turned upside down Diggs or Steele, assuming that they finally discover it.
It is at least a unique way of doing business. Obviously, the cowboys have made their style over the years, but it has taken the cake.
As you can expect, Parsons took notes:
Maybe this moment of the press conference sums up the best:
Reporter: Has GM’s resignation ever been a momentary consideration?
Jerry Jones: “Yes. Momentary.”
Report: “How long for a while?”
Jones: “Small fractions of seconds”.

HAPPY Training Camp, Cowboys fans.
